The Vimana of Sri Vaiyana Perumal shrine is in the style of Mughal architecture. In Islam, they kill the goat only after chanting their mantra (Paathiya oodhudhal). In the Aindhuveetu Swamy temple, the cattle select as offering brings to in front of the shrine of Sri Periyaswamy. Then, the Annavi chant mandhra (paathappaal) in its ears. The offering cattle are not allowed without giving paathappaal by the Annavi. And the food cooked outside the campus of this temple is not allowed.
Above are the special things about the Aindhuveetu Swamy temple. Even today, the devotees follow some rule and regulations inside the temple.
